Case Studies
-
We have received support from St John Bosco as part of our improvement journey. The entire process was extremely supportive, giving staff the relevant training and leaders the opportunity to develop their monitoring skills to ensure maximum impact and rapid progress is made every day. During the visits to school, instant feedback and live modelling was given to staff when observing, ensuring the effective delivery of RWI. The process made a significant impact on our school; staff gained confidence and a sound understanding, children made significant progress and, when we graduated, we felt equipped to continue on our journey. Where Sticks Become Stories: Join the next Go All In Together! Event on Wednesday, 20th May as part of the National Year of Reading 2026. This event is inspired by the beloved children’s book Stanley’s Stick. Aimed at Early Years and KS1 pupils, this event will encourage them to use stories to explore the world around them. • The first half begins with an active and immersive musical performance of Stanley’s Stick, accompanied by the Northern Chamber Orchestra. • In the second half, children will have the chance to contribute to a special four-nation version of Stanley’s Stick, brought to life by storyteller Danyah Miller and illustrator of Stanley’s Stick, Neal Layton.
